Abstract

La notoriété d'une personne invite la société, ses acteurs et ses institutions à continuellement revisiter sa vie, pour trouver de nouvelles façons de la célébrer. Ce faisant, la figure d'un écrivain comme Marcel Proust connaît des transformations créatrices dans l'espace public, ce qui n'est pas sans incidence sur les représentations de son œuvre. Dans cette perspective, l'auteure propose de porter un regard sur la rencontre entre trois secteurs des industries culturelles et À la recherche du temps perdu. Plus précisément, qu'est-ce que ces secteurs font d'un des personnages centraux de l'œuvre proustienne, Charles Swann ? C'est en arpentant les domaines de la bande dessinée, de la production cinématographique et du manga que l'auteure envisage cette question.
