Abstract
À l'heure où l'on entend parler chaque jour de la " génération Y ", au point que l'expression vient d'entrer dans l'édition 2013 du Petit Robert, sa place dans l'entreprise pose question. Qui est-elle vraiment ? Quels sont ses codes et ses valeurs ? En quoi est-elle si différente des générations précédentes ? La génération Y a entre 18 et 30 ans. Elle a grandi avec la mondialisation, un téléphone portable à l'oreille et un clavier à portée de main. Surdiplômée, elle connaît cependant l'insécurité du marché de l'emploi, le chômage et la peur du déclassement social. Dans ce contexte actuel, elle entretient avec le monde de l'entreprise un rapport complexe. Pour manager efficacement cette jeune génération, il est urgent de la comprendre. Cet ouvrage fournit les clés pour y parvenir. Cela passe par la prise en compte de l'environnement technologique (technologies de mobilité, jeux vidéo, médias sociaux), des attentes et exigences de ces " ultra-connectés ", notamment en termes de management et de mobilité à l'international. Il est également question de leur valeur ajoutée et de leur potentiel dans l'entreprise en matière de collaboration, de partage des connaissances et d'innovation. Dirigeants, DRH et formateurs trouveront ici toutes les pistes pour décrypter et intégrer au mieux la génération Y dans l'entreprise.
