Abstract

L'architecture est une expression de la culture. La création architecturale, la qualité des constructions, …. sont d'intérêt public » (article 1, loi du 3 janvier 1977). Le secteur de l'architecture est en crise. La conception artistique ou la posture esthétique de ses professionnels semble insuffisante pour faire face à un environnement de plus en plus normatif et concurrentiel. De l'orchestration d'une activité de conception au pilotage de sa réalisation, les architectes jouent un rôle de premier plan qu'ils ont de plus en plus de mal à tenir. En effet, au delà de la dimension économique, les agences d'architecture se trouvent confrontées à une obligation de mutation liée à l'évolution progressive des formes d'exercice des architectes. Elles évoluent dans un environnement de contraintes prescrites toujours plus prégnant (section I) et glissent inexorablement de l'art vers la technique (section II). Une impulsion managériale peut constituer un catalyseur stratégique (section III)...
