Abstract

Evoquer les questions de sureté nucléaire c'est, pour un économiste, s'intéresser aux coûts des contrôles et des mesures à mettre en oeuvre et à programmer et par conséquent au prix à payer pour faire face aux risques potentiels associés. La question du prix de l'énergie nucléaire et, plus largement de l'électricité, est une question cruciale et ce, à plusieurs égards. Elle est centrale pour-le devenir de la filière et pose en filigrane d'autres interrogations majeures :-celle du choix de modèle d'organisation économique du marché concerné : la concurrence à marche forcée impulsée au niveau européen pour passer d'un monopole naturel à un marché contestable et concrétisée par la loi Nôme est-elle satisfaisante pour la collectivité, ne serait-ce qu'en termes de prix ?
