Abstract

Face au réchauffement climatique et à l'augmentation drastique de la démographie mondiale, il est important de concevoir une agriculture durable qui préserve les ressources naturelles (biosystème), qui maintient les rendements de production pour les agriculteurs et fournit un bénéfice équitable à tous les maillons sur la chaîne de valeur agro-alimentaire (écosystème), qui tient compte des attentes sociales du citoyen à l'égard des entreprises agricoles, pour éviter la délocalisation des emplois et préserver une production locale dans des circuits courts (sosiosystème). Dans cet article, nous présentons le cas d'un réseau public-privé qui répond à ces enjeux, en créant et en labellisant une nouvelle variété de fruits résistante naturellement aux agressions : la pomme Ariane®. L'initiative de ce réseau revient à un laboratoire public au sein de l'INRA qui incite les acteurs privés de toute la filière, à se regrouper pour mieux prendre en considération le bien commun de leur filière d'activité.
