Abstract

Cette communication porte sur la durée d'existence des joint ventures internationales, un critère qui est souvent mobilisé pour déterminer la performance des alliances coopératives. Nous expliquons les principales mesures utilisées pour analyser la durée d'existence des joint ventures (instabilité, survie, longévité) et examinons une quinzaine d'études empiriques publiées dans les revues de management international. L'analyse proposée permet de mettre en relief la variété des recherches menées dans ce domaine et d'identifier plusieurs pistes de recherche qui pourraient être développées dans des travaux futurs.
