Abstract

Cinquante ans après sa réimplantation en Europe via les États-Unis, l'affacturage, bien qu'aujourd'hui en plein essor, souffre toujours d'un déficit d'image. Pourtant, technique alternative au crédit inter-entreprises, il offre la possibilité d'un financement anticipé des créances, véritable protection contre l'allongement des délais de paiement et les impayés. Pourquoi cette technique peine-t-elle alors à conquérir sa légitimité ? En revenant sur les origines de son implantation en France, cet article souligne les enjeux clés liés à l'irruption d'un tiers dans les relations clients.
