Abstract

Ce chapitre analyse l'évolution d'une routine organisationnelle dans un service hospitalier de Soins de Suite et de Réadaptation. Au vu des évolutions de contexte de ce service, les acteurs impliqués (médecin, soignants et encadrement) modifient progressivement une routine devenue défaillante, celle de « prise en charge du patient ». Ils questionnent leurs façons de faire et les repensent. Tant les aspects normatifs de la routine (cadres d'action, règles, procédures, etc.) que ceux plus pragmatiques (mises en œuvre des pratiques, improvisations, bricolages, etc.) sont renouvelés. En retraçant la trajectoire d'évolution de cette routine, les auteurs montrent qu'une réflexion collective sur les pratiques professionnelles peut être source d'une dynamique de changement et de flexibilité.
