Abstract

Ce chapitre vise à interroger les bases sur lesquelles repose la territorialisation de l'action publique en focalisant l'observation sur la politique des Pays, à partir de travaux menés avec P. Perrier-Cornet et des enseignements de travaux plus récents. Deux registres d'analyse sont mobilisés. Celui de la géographie économique vise à caractériser la structuration spatiale des Pays afin de mettre à jour la diversité des profils de territoires qui résulte des choix volontaires de regroupement des communes. Le registre de la sociologie du développement est mobilisé pour saisir, à partir des logiques sociales (migrations entre ville et campagne, coordination des acteurs, relations entre catégories de population), la fabrique des territoires et leur différenciation.
