Abstract

Le tourisme dit "expérientiel" vise à une véritable réalisation de soi, allant au-delà de la simple consommation d'un produit normalisé. Il doit surprendre le consommateur, lui donner de l'émotion, le mettre en scène, lui permettre le partage au sein d'une "communauté"… Le design d'expérience vise à "mettre en expérience" des offres existantes ou à imaginer de nouvelles offres, en adéquation avec les attentes des consommateurs d'aujourd'hui. Il permet de créer une valeur ajoutée subjective aux produits et services. Le tourisme d'aventure au Sahara est un bon exemple d'une offre touristique où l'"expérience" du client est valorisée de façon pertinente et efficace.
