Abstract

En management, la mobilisation d'un collectif en vue de réaliser un ensemble d'objectifs est un enjeu clef. C'est d'ailleurs l'un des rôles que la littérature a attribué depuis longtemps au manager dans les organisations. Dans cette recherche, nous nous intéressons en particulier à la capacité du manager à rendre un collectif cohérent tout en assumant la nécessité de différencier les éléments qui composent ce collectif (par exemple les sous-composantes d'une organisation), capacité qu'une littérature hétérogène aborde à travers le concept d'intégration. A cette fin, nous avons mené une recherche exploratoire réalisée dans le cadre d'une collaboration avec un groupe d'établissements de santé. Son analyse nous conduit d'une part, à proposer des axes permettant de décrire précisément ce que l'intégration signifie et d'autre part, à bâtir une cartographie de managers intégratifs.
