Abstract

The textbook describes the basic theoretical and methodological position of science, the study of which is based on economic and geographical analysis of Russia and its regional development in the current economic conditions. The main regularities, principles and factors of placing natural resources and productive forces of the Russian Federation, industrial and territorial structure of the economy, economic relations have been analyzed. The textbook reviews the territorial distribution of industry, agriculture, transport, external economic relations and the territorial organization of the economy of Russia. The textbook is suitable for the students of economic specialties of higher educational institutions, students of business schools, employees of economic services enterprise.
