Abstract

Metrology as a science covers range of problems connected to measurements including the food production industry. Currently food production faces the problem. In particular, water, raw materials and measuring instruments often do not meet the requirements for the accuracy and reliability of measurement results, which often requires additional verification. With the current development of science it is impossible to manage work without measurements. During the food production specialists almost daily encounter with the basics of metrology, standardization and company's certification. When buying imported equipment from known companies they believe that there is no need in its metrological control.
