Abstract
1. Aspects théoriques et problématique.Les déficiences dans le domaine de l'expression écrite constituent une préoccupation grandissante pour les recruteurs, car elles engendrent des coûts cachés pour l'organisation, notamment en termes d'image. En nous appuyant sur le cadre théorique de l'attribution, nous cherchons dans cette communication à mieux analyser la prise en compte des déficiences orthographiques par les recruteurs lors de l'examen des dossiers de candidature. Nous souhaitons vérifier si les inférences dispositionnelles provoquées par les déficiences orthographiques, déjà repérées dans certaines études anglo-saxonnes (ex : Kreiner & al - 2002) s'appliquent également dans un contexte francophone, et quels sont leurs impacts sur le taux de rejet des dossiers de candidature.2. Etude empirique340 recruteurs professionnels ont été sollicités pour se prononcer sur 6 dossiers de candidature répondant à une offre d'emploi pour un poste nécessitant des compétences écrites. Les dossiers (comportant un CV accompagné d'une lettre de motivation) ont été homogénéisés, et ne se différencient que sur deux critères : l'expérience du candidat (limitée ou importante), et la présence ou non de fautes (pas de fautes / fautes orthographiques /fautes typographiques). Les recruteurs devaient décider s'ils convoquaient ou non les candidats pour un entretien, et inscrire un commentaire en regard de chaque dossier examiné. Nous avons calculé et comparé les pourcentages de rejet pour chaque type de dossier, puis nous avons saisi et regroupé les commentaires associés à chacun des dossiers étudiés dans un corpus, sur lequel nous avons réalisé une analyse lexicale et sémantique à l'aide de l'application R-temis (Bouchet-Vallat & Bastin – 2013).3. RésultatsSans surprise, le taux de rejet des dossiers fautifs par les recruteurs est significativement supérieur à celui des dossiers non fautifs (respectivement 37,2 % contre 28,6 % ; Z= -2.834, p
