Abstract

Le monde est en train de se structurer autour des trois grandes monnaies clés : le dollar, le yen et l'euro. L'intérêt d'un monde multipolaire, dans lequel il existe plusieurs devises, est d'une part que chacune de ces devises peut être mise au service de la croissance et de la stabilité interne de la région qu'elle concerne et, d'autre part, qu'il est plus simple d'avoir des taux de change ordonnés entre peu de monnaies qu'entre une myriade de monnaies comme c'est encore le cas actuellement. Un tel système monétaire permet d'éviter les dysfonctionnements que peuvent générer les marchés financiers au fur et à mesure de l'éclatement de crises spéculatives.
