Abstract

Le vingtième anniversaire de la chute du Mur a témoigné de l'ambivalence des populations centreeuropéennes vis-à-vis de l'état de la démocratie aujourd'hui, et des désaccords au sein des élites politiques, qui l'ont célébré dans la division et l'instrumentalisation politique. Personne n'a envie de revenir à l'ancien régime communiste, mais tout le monde sent qu'un long cycle, dominé par le triptyque " démocratisation-économie de marché-adhésion à l'Union européenne " s'est épuisé. L'Europe ne fait plus rêver, la démocratie est prématurément fatiguée et l'économie est touchée par la crise internationale (...).
