Perspectives 2008-2009 : l'Allemagne fait de la résistance

Abstract

Alors qu'une récession économique généralisée menace, l'Allemagne jouerait en 2008 et 2009 le rôle de stabilisateur de la croissance de la zone euro. Après avoir enregistré en 2007 un taux de croissance égal à celui de la zone euro (+ 2,6 %), l'Allemagne profiterait en 2008 d'un différentiel de croissance positif (+ 1,7 % contre + 1,2 % pour l'ensemble de la zone ), qu'elle maintiendrait en 2009 (+ 1,3 % contre + 1 %). Grâce à la bonne santé de ses entreprises, et ne subissant pas le contrecoup d'un marché immobilier depuis longtemps atone, l'Allemagne passerait mieux que ses partenaires européens au travers des turbulences, échappant à la récession. En dépit du trou d'air de la progression de la demande intérieure en 2008, le ralentissement de la demande adressée aux exportateurs allemands et l'érosion des gains de compétitivité-coût recentrerait la croissance allemande sur les composantes internes de la demande (...).
