Abstract

"La santé coûte de plus en plus cher". Il ne passe pas une semaine sans qu'un article ou un livre ravive le débat sur l'augmentation inéluctable des "dépenses de santé". Mais le plus souvent, il n'est question que des dépenses de soins, médicaments, examens qui sont omniprésents dans nos sociétés occidentales. Pourtant, quel est leur impact réel sur l'état de santé des Français ? Qu'est ce qui contribue vraiment à la santé de chacun de nous ? Et pourquoi tant d'inégalités de santé subsistent-elles malgré la Sécurité Sociale et ses multiples réformes ? En éclairant de façon simple ces grandes questions et quelques autres, La santé dévoilée vise à sortir de la logique du "tout soin" pour ouvrir plus largement le débat sur les enjeux d'une santé plus équitable. C'est un livre qui s'adresse à toutes celles et ceux qui souhaitent comprendre comment ils peuvent agir individuellement pour leur santé, et en même temps préserver les ressources au service de la santé de tous.
