Abstract

Today, action research is the dominant method of qualitative research in management science. While this term may include many approaches, all of them focus on the combination of the social application of the organisation with knowledge capture by the researchers engaged in the project. The purpose of this article is to propose another approach to intervention on the ground, in which the issue and the response are not synchronised. This approach, when not synchronised with the problem being researched, raises difficulties regarding the validity of the knowledge being captured, and thus requires a more suitable methodological framework.
