Le désenchantement du management de proximité. Le cas des responsables d'agence d'une société de service

Abstract

Par-delà le contrat de travail se tisse entre le salarié et son organisation un lien tacite de nature psychologique. Certains salariés en situation de managers de proximité doivent assumer une position encore plus délicate. Parce qu'ils nouent des liens non seulement avec le " haut ", mais aussi avec le " bas ", ils doivent maintenir une certaine congruence entre ce qu'ils " vivent " et ce qu'ils " font vivre " à d'autres. Ils doivent conserver une posture de leader et entretenir des liens satisfaisants avec leur équipe. Se pose alors une question centrale : en cas de sentiment de rupture de leur propre contrat psychologique avec l'organisation, comment vont-ils pouvoir maintenir le contrat qu'ils sont sensés tisser avec leur équipe ? Pour répondre à cette interrogation, nous avons choisi de mobiliser la théorie du contrat psychologique afin d'apporter un éclairage spécifique aux difficultés du management de proximité. Nous prendrons appui sur une étude de terrain menée de manière approfondie auprès de responsables d'agences de travail temporaire.
