Abstract

L'accident de la centrale nucléaire de Three Mile Island, en 1979, est à l'origine d'une nouvelle approche de la sûreté qui consiste à mieux prendre en compte l'homme et son activité. Quelques années plus tard, avec la création d'un groupe de spécialistes à l'institut de protection et de sûreté nucléaire, un nouvel acteur apparaît dans l'organisation française de la sûreté nucléaire : l'expert spécialiste des facteurs humains. Une étude rétrospective recense les différents courants à l'origine de ce domaine et les objets qu'aborde l'expertise. Par ailleurs, le déroulement d'une expertise fait intervenir de nombreux acteurs ; Faire de l'expertise de sûreté nucléaire dans le domaine des facteurs humains un objet de recherche en gestion nécessite de tenir compte des relations du spécialiste avec ses interlocuteurs. Que peut alors désigner une expertise efficace ? Un lieu de savoirs pertinents ? Un lieu d'arguments persuasifs ? Un lieu de prescriptions améliorant la sûreté ?
