Abstract

L'heuristique " Élimination par attributs " (epa) permet de choisir parmi un ensemble de produits à l'issue d'un processus séquentiel : à chaque étape, les consommateurs éliminent tous les produits ne possédant pas un certain attribut et finalement achètent le dernier bien restant. Cette heuristique a servi de base à Tversky [1972] pour élaborer un modèle de choix discrets, au sein duquel l'écart de prix entre les biens peut être représenté par un attribut. Nous utilisons ces probabilités pour construire les demandes d'un duopole de produits différenciés avec rationalité imparfaite des consommateurs. À l'équilibre en prix, la " différenciation par attributs " constitue un cadre général qui incorpore à la fois la différenciation verticale et horizontale.
