Abstract

Alors que la sociologie et l'histoire se sont intéressées de longue date à l'étude de l'influence du facteur religieux sur les pratiques économiques, les sciences du management n'en ont découvert l'intérêt que depuis peu. La Doctrine Sociale de l'Eglise constitue à ce titre l'un des principaux fondements à partir duquel peut être dégagé un idéal du management d'inspiration catholique. Quels sont les principes, les normes et les directives qui peuvent guider le dirigeant qui souhaite se conformer aux valeurs contenues dans cette doctrine, et comment peut-il les appliquer concrètement dans son action quotidienne? C'est à ces deux questions que ce livre se propose précisément de répondre, en s'appuyant sur une vaste enquête menée auprès d'un échantillon de dirigeants membres du mouvement français des Entrepreneurs et des Dirigeants Chrétiens.
