Abstract

Ce papier présente les résultats d'une étude empirique qui examine l'impact des particularités des PME familiales sur leur engagement environnemental. L'engagement environnemental est analyse selon trois dimensions: son intégration dans la stratégie d'entreprise; son volontarisme et son degré de formalisation. Une enquête quantitative exploratoire a été réalisée auprès de 53 PME familiales et de 31 non familiales en France. Les principaux résultats montrent que les PME familiales intègrent davantage les questions environnementales dans leur stratégie et font preuve d'un niveau plus élevé de volontarisme et de formalisation. Un effet taille a également été mis en évidence dans notre échantillon.
