L'entreprise Mobile, comprendre l'impact des nouvelles technologies

Abstract

Depuis l'avènement d'Internet, les technologies de l'information et de la communication (TIC) tiennent une place considérable dans le développement des entreprises. Téléphone et ordinateur portables, réseau sans fil et Internet haut débit permettent aujourd'hui aux salariés de travailler sans contrainte de lieu ni de temps. Or, cette évolution ne va pas sans un profond bouleversement des modes de fonctionnement de l'entreprise. Fruit de trois années de recherche, ce livre analyse avec précision les conséquences organisationnelles et humaines du développement des TIC mobiles. Il en décrit dans un premier temps les avantages évidents - autonomie et flexibilité, réduction des " temps morts ", rationalisation des processus opérationnels, diminution des coûts de structure, etc. - pour nous dévoiler dans un second temps l'inévitable revers de la médaille : remise en cause des valeurs traditionnelles de l'entreprise, dégradation de la qualité des processus de décision, éclatement progressif du collectif, rupture des frontières entre travail et non-travail... Charles-Henri Besseyre des Horts montre combien il est important, dans un processus de changement vers l'entreprise mobile du futur, de mettre en place une stratégie claire de développement des nouvelles technologies, tant pour les organisations que pour les individus.
