Abstract

L'actualité économique de ces dernières années est riche en exemples d'entreprises ayant connues de graves difficultés, dont la responsabilité peut être en grande partie imputée à leurs dirigeants : mauvais choix stratégiques, pratiques managériales médiocres, conduites non éthiques, etc. Ils expliquent sans doute la crise de confiance ou plutôt la défiance toute particulière qui existe en France vis-à-vis des élites, et en particulier la cassure croissante qu'on observe entre les salariés et les dirigeants d'entreprises. (Algan & Cahuc, 2007}. Aussi la question du «risque managerial» lié aux choix des dirigeants se pose-t-elle avec de plus en plus d'acuité tant pour les entreprises que pour la société. Quels risques présentent leurs décisions, leurs compétences, mais aussi leurs personnalités, leurs pratiques managériales, mais aussi leur éthique personnelle et professionnelle ?
