Abstract

Cet article s'intéresse aux actions mises en œuvre par les entreprises innovantes afin d'influencer le contexte institutionnel et réglementaire. L'innovation se trouve en effet confrontée, par nature, à un environnement institutionnel non adapté, voire contraignant. Comment, dans ce cas, les entreprises innovantes parviennent-elles à modifier cet environnement dans un sens qui soit favorable à leurs innovations ? Cet article propose un cadre théorique pour l'analyse de la stratégie politique ou " hors marché " de l'entreprise innovante. Six configurations types ont été identifiées selon l'impact concurrentiel d'une innovation et le rôle de la décision publique dans la diffusion de l'innovation. Ces configurations amènent à des stratégies d'influence différentes de la part des entreprises innovantes. Une seconde partie développe, sous forme d'hypothèses, les différentes formes et modes d'influence pouvant être émises par l'entreprise innovante.
