Abstract

Il est possible de proposer l'existence d'au moins cinq acceptions à la mondialisation : une acception économique liée aux conséquences de l'activité des entreprises multinationales, une acception géographique (la mondialisation est une géographie des flux), une acception politique qui tient compte du poids croissant des organisations " supra-nationales ", une acception dogmatique qui fait de la mondialisation une croyance nécessaire et une acception historique qui fait de la mondialisation la verbalisation actuelle du capitalisme comme ordre politique applicable au monde entier. L'accent mis dans ce texte porte sur la compréhension de ce qu'est la mondialisation à partir des arguments suivants : celui de la perspective culturaliste d'un modèle anglo-américain de l'organisation, celui des perspectives économiques et politiques de la mondialisation, celui de la perspective descriptive et celui de la perspective historique de Fernand Braudel à partir de la notion d'économie-monde.
