Abstract

Ce texte aborde une synthèse de la pensée de quelques auteurs philosophiques contemporains ayant traité d'éthique pour ce qu'ils peuvent avoir à nous dire en sciences des organisations et en gestion des ressources humaines dans la mesure où cette référence est maintenant courante en sciences de gestion. Les philosophes sont aujourd'hui amenés à s'intéresser à la cité dans un rôle de commentaire critique, corrélativement aux contours et aux implications d'un "moment libéral". Un tel choix se révèle bien sûr limitatif. C'est en partant du constat de l'évidence éthique de la fin du XX° siècle que cet article va mettre en perspective trois univers de théories éthiques, eux-mêmes disparates du fait du critère géographique mis en avant ici: l'école française avec Lévinas et Foucault, l'école allemande avec Jonas et Habermas, l'école américaine avec Rawls et Larmore
