Abstract

Nas ùltimas décadas, o setor automativo foi submetido a duas tendências, ao mesmo tempo continuas e contraditorias : de um lado, o movimendo de especializaçao/concentraçao que tende a desintegrar o complexo automativo e, de outro lado, una competicao pela inovacao das equipes de projeto tem sido um triunfo decisivo. Entre estas duas situaçoes, experimentam se situaçaoes nas quais se aliam competicao e cooperacao. O objetivo deste artigo é caracterizar a dinâmica das relacoes entre fabricanntes automotivos e fornecedores em projetos de inovaçoa. Isso nos conduzirà inicialmente a um modelo de co-inovacao ideal-tipico, explicitando por sua vez as diferencaz cum o modelo de-senvolvimento.Em seguida, apresenteremos um quadro analitico, permitindo analizar empiricamente os procesos de co-inovacao e de avaliar seus desempenhos ? Uma vez esta belecido este referencial, nos aplicaremos este quadro de analise nos dois percursos correspondente à mesma inovaçao desenvolvida por um constructor europeu (EASTCAR) A confrontaçao do caso com o dispositivo analitico permitirà explicitar as caracteristicas da dinamica de co inovaçao e seus perfis de desempenho associados. Uma inferência sobre as oportunidades e desafios que esta mudança apresenta no contexto brasileiro serà analisada tambèm.
