Abstract

Malgré les critiques diverses depuis les années 80, la planification stratégique (PS) est considérée comme l'outil managérial le plus utilisé dans la pratique selon des enquêtes . Cette constatation peut être faite aussi bien pour les entreprises anglo-saxonnes que pour les groupes français (Mazières, 2001). Dans le cadre de cette continuité de l'usage de la planification, il apparaît ainsi toujours pertinent de s'interroger à la fois sur la validité actuelle du concept de PS dans les pays développés et sur le transfert ou l'adaptation dans les pays en voie de développement. Les travaux empiriques traitant des pratiques de planification et de contrôle stratégique dans les pays en développement sont quant à eux peu nombreux (Lassoued, 2004).
