Pourquoi les communautés de métier de l'US Navy et de l'US Army s'approprient-elles différemment les TIC ?

Abstract

Comment maîtriser l'introduciton des nouvelles technologies dans l'organisation? Pourquoi l'appropriation des TIC se déroule-t-elle de façon différenciée dans des milieux aussi rapprochés que l'US Navy et l'US Army, alors qu'on en attendait un avantage décisif pour ces deux corps d'armée? Des retours d'expérience d'officiers américains présents en Afghanistan et en Irak et des entretiens avec des militaires français permettent à l'auteur de dépasser une perception simplement situationnelle de l'usage des TIC. L'identité culturelle de chaque communauté, qui cristallise les contraintes de terrain et l'accumulation des expériences collectives, se révèle un facteur déterminant.
