Comment évaluer la performance du Knowledge Management ?

Abstract

Si les démarches de Knowledge Management (ou Gestion des Connaissances) se multiplient ces dernières années dans les organisations tendant même à s'ancrer dans les processus d'affaires de l'organisation comme les Ressources Humaines, l'Informatique, les Achats ou le Marketing... ou à structurer des départements propres (Center for Business Knowledge de Ernst&Young; Direction KM chez OGILVY...), la question de la caractérisation de la performance de ces démarches restent aujourd'hui très débattue dans les organisations comme dans la littérature managériale. Certes l'idée de déterminer un ROI du KM, forte de l'expérience de démarches comme la Qualité, est de moins en moins évoquée par les managers ou les théoriciens. Il n'en reste pas moins que pour piloter ces démarches, des outils de gestion spécifiques s'avèrent nécessaires. Ce chapitre a pour objectif de discuter ce besoin et d'apporter des éléments de compréhension et d'action pour les managers en charge de répondre à cette question de l'évaluation de la performance du Knowledge Management.
