Abstract

Privatiser les risques et socialiser les résultats ? Les limites de l'Etat-Providence et du marché amènent à reconsidérer des pratiques très anciennes et qui ont fait leurs preuves. Ainsi, des patronages nés au XIXè siècle sous l'influence prosélyte des associations laïques et confessionnelles, et qui emploient aujourd'hui dans quinze mille structures, deux cent vingt mille salariés, et accueillent environ trois millions d'enfants chaque année. Le savant dosage entre mythes, rites et tribus qui les caractérise peut-il alors servir de modèle pour des initiatives socio-économiques qui fassent sens pour toutes les catégoreis d'acteurs qui y participent ?
