Abstract

La question des mondes du travail a commencé à intéresser au début des Trente Glorieuses, ce que montre bien la bibliographie, cf. Édouard Dolléans et Georges Lefranc. Toutefois, les corporations et le compagnonnage avaient toujours été jugés dignes d'intérêt, cf. Agricol Perdiguier intéressant George Sand à la question. Mais on s'est longtemps intéressé surtout aux réglementations, à la Révolution industrielle, à la proto-industrie, à la sociabilité, aux caractères de la production, tous éléments marqueurs des identités sociales, comme les conditions de travail. Et les publications bien centrées sur le travail sont peu nombreuses, mais elles sont de qualité et ont renouvelé la question dans les années 80 et 90, d'où le choix du thème de cette année.
