Abstract

The objective of this paper therefore, is to develop a conceptual model and the instruments of measurement in order to be able to identify the background regarding mobile penetration in Africa. This research is based on the theories of acceptation and utilization of technologies and the facilitating conditions related to the countries. Based on this model, a comparative study was carried out between Mali and Senegal, which allowed us to better identify the factors and those that significantly influence the penetration of mobile telephony in Africa.
