Abstract

Après un long rejet de l'éthique hors de la sphère économique, on observe aujourd'hui un regain d'intérêt pour les approches refusant cette dissociation. Parallèlement, on assiste à l'essor de structures économiques alternatives, fondées sur la conviction que la rentabilité économique peut être conciliée avec des objectifs sociaux et environnementaux. L'investissement socialement responsable s'inscrit dans cette mouvance. Apparu aux États-Unis dès la fin des années 20, son développement s'est accéléré depuis les années 90 parallèlement au succès du concept de développement durable et sous l'effet des désordres observés dans le monde de la finance.Gunther Capelle-Blancard et Stéphanie Giamporcaro-Saunière dressent l'état des lieux de cette pratique et des questions qu'elle suscite.
