Abstract

Deux moments remarquables ont constitué l'épidémiologie en science expérimentale : la modélisation par Daniel Bernoulli de la diffusion d'une maladie dans une population à l'aide d'une équation différentielle en 1760 ; l'élaboration d'un modèle de causalité « probabiliste » dans l'entre-deux-guerres. Alors qu'ils n'ont jamais été entièrement intégrés à la formation des médecins en France, les prérequis de ces approches sont désormais enseignés en classe de terminale.
