Guerra Comercial China-EUA: O verdadeiro “ladrão” finalmente desmascarado

Abstract

Após uma breve apresentação da posição de Karl Marx sobre o comércio internacional, discutimos a evolução da balança comercial sino-americana, segundo a qual os Estados Unidos aparentemente estão perdendo. A seguir, propomos dois métodos de mensuração do intercâmbio desigual entre esses países, um considerando o conteúdo de trabalho diretamente incorporado nas mercadorias trocadas, e outro centrado no valor internacional delas, utilizando tabelas de entrada e saída, que mostram que os Estados Unidos realmente vencem. Uma análise setorial indica uma erosão da vantagem dos EUA, ou seja, que eles ganham no intercâmbio, mas cada vez menos. Por fim, examinamos o desafio à hegemonia global para apreender o que os Estados Unidos têm a oferecer ao mundo.
