Que nous enseigne l'analyse de la répartition primaire des revenus ?

Abstract

En France, la part salariale dans la valeur ajoutée a beaucoup augmenté entre 1973 et 1983. Elle a ensuite beaucoup baissé dans les année 1980, s'est stabilisée au début des années 1990 avant de repartir à la hausse depuis la crise des subprimes. Trois grands facteurs expliquent son évolution : le coût de l'énergie, l'élasticité de substitution capital-travail et le pouvoir de négociation salarial. Le coin socio-fiscal n'a en revanche pas d'incidence claire. La répartition primaire et ses évolutions influencent directement le taux national d'épargne et peuvent donc avoir un impact significatif sur la croissance. Cet indicateur requiert néanmoins d'être complété par une analyse des inégalités individuelles de revenu.
