Abstract

The work/family conciliation is eminently current socio-economic question. With the crossroads of the major stakes: demographic concerns, of employment, social protection and gender relations. In which all the social actors are implied: families, companies, communities and State. The presentation approaches the recent history of the relations work/family (according to whether it is the family, then the woman, finally the child who is in the centre). Then the impact of the new forms of conjugality and parentality shows. Before wondering about the news gives demographic, this would lead to a post-modern form of conciliation, founded on the inter-generation relations.
