Abstract

Job quality is a multidimensional concept defined by some indicators and dimensions listed by EU. Following this definition, we use a new taxonomy of European job quality models based on enlarged dataset. The aim of our study is to apply a job quality indicator - which has been defined in the EU- on French panel, in order to analyze school-to-work transition and to cover the first three years on labor market for the cohort of young people who left the French educational system in 2004 (the "Generation 2004" Survey). Furthermore, we focus on youth without diplomas, to measure with a composite indicator (and a large set of indicators) the trends in job quality for those with no diplomas.
