Abstract

Los modelos de crecimiento endógeno son generalmente presentados como: 1. una versión ma-cro-dinámica del equilibrio general de Walras, con bases micro-económicas bien fundamentadas; 2. una ruptura con la representación de Solow, incapaz de explicar el crecimiento; 3. la identifi-cación de los motores actuales del progreso técnico y del crecimiento, movilizando nociones co-mo las de conocimiento, externalidades y rendimientos crecientes; 4. la rehabilitación de la intervención del Estado, particularmente en áreas sociales (investigación, educación...); 5. ce-rrando la brecha entre los neoclásicos y las preocupaciones heterodoxas. Estas posiciones, so-bre las cuales se ha establecido un consenso, son erróneas. El objetivo de este artículo es contribuir a la crítica de estos modelos neoclásicos, intentando iluminar su "cara oculta", especialmente las profundas ambigüedades que rodean su redefinición del papel del Estado en la era de la globalización neoliberal
