Abstract

Objective � It was previously assumed that the relationship between HLOC and quality of life may be mediated by adherence. HLOC plays a role in determining a person's behavior, including adherence to medical regimens. Methodology/Technique � HLOC was measured by the Multidimensional Health Locus of Control Scale, adherence was measured by the 8-item Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8), and quality of life was measured by the Quality of Life Scale.
