Jalons pour une histoire de la mesure de la science

Abstract

La mesure de la science et de la technologie est encore jeune. Elle a une quarantaine d'annees a pein -du moins dans le monde occidental. On peut certes identifier avant les annees 60 des tentatives, parfois tres systematisees de mesure de la science et de la technologie; toutefois, ces experiences se confinent a l'Europe de l'Est. Une revue de la litterature sur l'histoire de la statistique sociale nous apprend que la mesure de la science et de la technologie a ete completement ignoree. par consequent, son histoire reste a ecrire. Cette communication se veut une contribution en ce sens.
