Intermediation et affichage des prix dans un contexte d'anti-selection

Abstract

Dans un modele d'anti-selection sur la qualite, ca papier analyse la politique d'affichage de prix d'un intermediaire, qui propose un prix d'achat aux vendeurs et un prix de revente aux acheteurs. Nous montrons que la situation de monopole d'un intermediaire qui ne sait pas distinguer les qualites est preferable pour les acheteurs a une situation de monopole d'un intermediaire qui est capable de distinguer la qualite des vendeurs. Nous etudions la concurrence en prix entre intermediaires, et nous montrons qu'elle peut ameliorer l'utilite des agents, meme si les intermediaires ne distinguent pas les qualites.
