Chocs asymetriques et dynamique du chomage dans un modele a deux pays

Abstract

Nous nous inscrivons dans le cadre theorique d'un modele d'equilibre general intertemporel stochastique purement reel a deux pays pour analyser la dynamique des taux de chomage nationaux suite a l'occurrence de chocs asymetriques. Il s'agit en cela d'un modele non-walrasien dans lequel le salaire est fixe par un syndicat monopoliste dans le cadre de negociations dicentralisees dans chaque entreprise, qui decide en dernier ressort du niveau de l'emploi. Un point essentiel de notre modele est d'introduire une negociation salariale incluant un mecanisme d'indexation des salaires sur les prix a la consommation qui constitue un mode de transmission de chocs reels asymetriques d'offre et de demande. Les chocs d'offre provoquent des conjonctures similaires dans les deux pays, tandis que les chocs de demande sont a l'origine de disparites conjoncturelles. Cette difference s'explique principalement par la dynamique des termes de l'echange.
