Regimes de change et interdependances structurelles: Un reexamen du modele de Dornbusch

Abstract

A l'instar des politiques monetaires, les politiques budgetaires nationales ont un effet de contagion sur les autres pays. De tels effets sont sensibles au regime de change en vigueur. L'objet de cet article est d'etudier la modification des modes de transmission internationale d'un choc budgetaire asymetrique a la suite du passage a la monnaie unique. Le modele etend le cadre d'analyse de Dornbusch [1976] a un modele a deux pays. Cependant que les valeurs de long terme des variables reelles et la dynamique des variables agregees ne sont pas sensibles au changement de regime de change, la mise en place d'une union monetaire influence, a court terme, la repartition du produit mondial entre les pays a la suite d'un choc budgetaire.
