Pertes Patrimoniales au Japon: Quels Effets sur l'Equilibre Financier Mondial

Abstract

Dans las dernieres annees, s'est developpee la theorie du taux de change reel d'equilibre (ou naturel), qui est la parite reelle qui assure a la fois l'equilibre interne (equilibre du marche des biens) et l'equilibre externe (stabilite de la dette ou des avoirs exterieurs). Nous developpons un modele theorique du taux de change reel d'equilibre en nous posant deux questions. Les contraintes de stabilite dynamique resteignent les valeurs possibles pour les parametres du modele, et ne sont pas toujours correctement analysees; elles portent sur la dynamique du taux de change, du capital productif, de la dette exterieure; qu'impliquent-elles pour les enseigements du modele? La seconde question est la suivante: le modele usuel postule la parfaite mobilite internationale du capital, les resultats sont-ils significativement modifies si on introduit une imparfaite mobilite du capital?
