Prescription et adoption des outils de gestion dans les PME. Quels facteurs facilitateurs ?

Abstract

Les cabinets conseil, les associations de promotion des outils de gestion ou encore les institutions représentatives constatent des difficultés à sensibiliser les PME aux outils de gestion. Mais les dirigeants ont-t-ils seulement connaissance de l’outil et conscience de ses apports potentiels pour l’organisation ? Cette question nous amène à nous interroger sur le rôle des prescripteurs des outils de gestion dans le cadre du processus d’adoption des outils de gestion dans les PME. Pourquoi une telle imperméabilité ? Est-elle liée à la construction de l’offre ? Est-elle le résultat d’une lecture erronée et déformée de la PME, qui pourrait notamment s’expliquer par la transposition trop fréquente des modes de fonctionnement de la grande entreprise ? Plus particulièrement, est-elle liée à une compréhension biaisée des attentes et représentations des directions de PME ? L’objectif de cette communication est d’apporter un éclairage sur le processus d’adoption des méthodes et outils de gestion dans la PME, à partir de deux études de cas, et d’en tirer des enseignements en terme de prescription. Comment favoriser l’adoption des outils de gestion dans les PME ?
